Give now to protect immigrants and defend immigrant rights!

Keep the flame of resistance burning.

Dec. 11, 2025

So I will find a way to keep burning without burning out. I will find moments to breathe, to soften, to hold what’s unbearable without letting it hollow me out. The goal is to feel without coming apart. And to keep going–until we don’t have to live like this anymore.

-Kelly Hayes, author, movement educator, and organizer

Dear Friends,

During this season, many of us pause to enjoy moments of peace and to be with our loved ones if we are so lucky. We also hold in our hearts those who are not so fortunate.

Immigrant families are living in ongoing terror of being torn apart. Others are reeling from the devastation inflicted by a cruel and lawless administration intent on dividing and destroying our communities.

This year, together with you, the National Immigration Project led the fight for justice and worked tirelessly for everyone who calls this country home (read our 2025 Impact Report here).

Our flame of resistance burned brightest where we were needed most: in the courts, in remote detention centers, in the aftermath of raids, and by the side of our members, partners, and communities.

But the challenges have only just begun. The attacks on immigrants are escalating. And the threats to all of us–to our unity, dignity, and democracy–are real.

We need your support so we can keep burning without burning out

Donate today to fuel the fight.

With your donation, the National Immigration Project will continue to:

  • fight to uphold the Constitution and hold the administration accountable for its egregious abuse of authority. This year, we filed more litigation than ever before, including to:
    • bring back wrongfully deported U.S. citizen children
    • protect our communities from unlawful arrests
    • challenge deplorable and life-threatening detention conditions
    • restore safety for immigrant youth deprived of their right to thrive
    • free individuals unlawfully detained and removed to CECOT, the Salvadoran prison notorious for torture
    • challenge the revocation of student visas impacting thousands of international students coerced to leave the country without due process
  • respond to raids in the highly targeted yet under-resourced Southeast, Midwest, and Rockies regions.
  • equip attorneys and advocates with the knowledge and tools they need to defend the rights of immigrants, and empower community members to protect themselves and each other.
    • In 2025, we reached over 25,000 people through our trainings, produced dozens of resources in response to weekly changes in immigration law and policy, and responded to more than 600 requests for technical and strategic support.

I am asking you to match our resolve with resources.

Whether you can give $50, $100, $1,000, or $5,000, your donation will help us meet this moment and confront the enormous challenges ahead.

Donate now.

With your support, together we will fight more fiercely and burn more brightly than ever.

With gratitude,
Sirine Shebaya
