The End SIJS Backlog Coalitions, a project of the National Immigration Project, filed an amicus brief along with partner organizations supporting SIJS beneficiary siblings' Third Circuit challenge to a BIA decision denying their motion to reopen based on approved SIJS. The brief asks the Third Circuit to "hold that an approved SIJS petition cannot be deemed 'too speculative' to support granting a motion to reopen, so that the children Congress chose to protect are not denied that chance for the sole offense of waiting their turn in line."
