Rebecca Scholtz, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, comes to NIPNLG from Catholic Legal Immigration Network, where as a senior attorney with the Defending Vulnerable Populations Program she provided training and technical support to immigration practitioners focusing on issues related to Special Immigrant Juvenile Status and unaccompanied children in removal proceedings. Rebecca previously worked at Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid where she represented unaccompanied children and provided training, technical assistance, and advocacy on children's immigration issues. She is a faculty fellow at the University of St. Thomas School of Law and previously taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Law School. Rebecca clerked for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and is a graduate of Yale Law School and Middlebury College.
