Lily Hartmann is the Legal Program Manager at the National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild (NIPNLG). Before joining NIPNLG, she worked at Americans for Immigrant Justice in Miami, Florida where she documented conditions in detention centers, supported litigation, and collaborated on campaigns to end ICE contracts with Florida county jails. Prior to moving to Miami, Lily spent several years working with refugee families and community organizations in Providence, Rhode Island on projects to build youth power and improve access to healthcare and safe housing for immigrants. She holds a B.A. in Latin American and Caribbean Studies and Development Studies from Brown University.
