Our membership term runs from July 1 to June 30. You can sign up for each membership year starting on May 1.

For individual members, these benefits apply to you only. This means that if someone else from your organization, law school clinic, or law firm wants to access our technical assistance benefit, they should either become an individual National Immigration Project member or your organization, law school clinic, or law firm should consider a group membership and add that person as a submember under the group’s membership.

Click Member Portal in the dropdown menu under the Membership tab in the upper right of nipnlg.org. The login page has a link for recovering your account if you don’t remember your login or password, or if you don’t yet have one.

Log into the Member Portal to access the member-only resources. We also encourage you to review the Member Welcome Guide linked on the portal, as it offers valuable information about your membership benefits and how to access them.

Please note that your individual account is distinct from your group's account, which is why they require different login credentials.

By logging into your group's account (rather than your individual account), you can view, add, and remove submembers/beneficiaries, renew your group's membership, update your group’s profile, and more. The group account acts as the primary account. In addition to the primary group account, each member of your team can create their own logins to the member portal and access all the benefits of membership, including TA requests, member discounts to CLEs and resources, listserv access, and invites to member-only events.

The Member Portal login page has a link for recovering your group’s account if you don’t remember your group’s login or password, or if you don’t yet have one. If you have any trouble logging in, contact us at membership@nipnlg.org for assistance.

Nonprofit organizations, law firms, and law school clinics that have joined as a group have the option to extend National Immigration Project benefits to members of their staff:

Nonprofit organization group memberships extend benefits to all their staff and the group pricing is based on the number of attorneys on staff who engage in immigrant defense work. The number of attorneys on staff is what determines pricing, not the number of attorneys who are formally added to the membership. 

Group memberships may extend National Immigration Project benefits to some or all staff depending on whether the group is a law firm or a law school clinic and the membership level. Law school clinic member champions and law firm member champions can extend National Immigration Project benefits to all staff. 

Other law firm and clinic membership levels can extend benefits to some, but not all staff.

Not a problem! Please email membership@nipnlg.org with [Invoice Request] in the subject line to request an invoice for your membership dues payment. Once we receive your payment, we will activate your membership and send you all the information you need to access your membership account and benefits.
