National Immigration Project Submits Comment Opposing DOJ Ethics Rule

On March 5, 2026, the Department of Justice (DOJ) proposed a new rule which would force state disciplinary authorities to allow DOJ to investigate ethics complaints against DOJ lawyers before the state authority could do so. The National Immigration Project submitted a comment strongly opposing this rule particularly given the violations of ethical norms under this administration.
