The National Immigration Project provides support to both members who are attorneys and accredited representatives and members who are grassroots organizations and organizers.

 

Request Support for Attorneys and Accredited Representatives

What we offer:

  • Priority for administrative advocacy with administrative agencies and communications support for your clients or members

We provide technical support in all immigration issues areas and have expertise in the following topics:

  • Crim-Imm (Padilla, criminal bars, post-conviction relief)
  • Removal defense, BIA appeals, immigration court
  • Motions to Reopen
  • Asylum
  • SIJS & unaccompanied children
  • Case campaigns, administrative advocacy, state and local advocacy and organizing, policy strategy

How to access:

  1. Log in to the member portal at nipnlg.org. Trouble logging in? Email membership@nipnlg.org or use the password reset link on the login page.
  2. In the left-side menu panel, select "Member Technical Assistance."
  3. Complete and submit the technical assistance request form. You will have the opportunity to upload up to 3 documents related to your technical assistance request. Please be sure to redact the document so that the client's personal identifying information and other confidential information is removed before uploading. Include all relevant details and any time-sensitive hearing or filing dates.
  4. Upon successful submission of your technical assistance request, you will receive an email confirming that we received your request. A staff member will follow up by email within five business days.

Request Support for Grassroots Organizations and Organizers

What we offer:

The National Immigration Project offers campaign, advocacy, and legal analysis support to our grassroots and organizer members. Whether it is reviewing legislation, creating community trainings, or consulting on strategy, our attorneys and organizer staff are ready to support and uplift your work.

How to access:

  2. In the left-side menu panel, select "Grassroots Member Resources."
  3. Complete and submit the support request form.
