Rodriguez v. Aitken: Detention of a U.S. Citizen
This lawsuit was filed on behalf of a U.S. citizen unlawfully detained under an immigration detainer. In 2012, he sued the United States, federal immigration officials, and the Sonoma County Sheriff's Department in federal court for false imprisonment, negligence, and violations of the California Constitution and U.S. Constitution.
